The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the governmnet intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Negotiations will be conducted with Beldam Crossley, LTD, Bolton, UK as this is a unique military item and the above is the only company manufacturing a one-piece obturator design which meets the requirements - drawing is a source controlled drawing with only one approved source of supply.
