NA Market survey/sources sought synopsis for firms that are capable of repairing/upgrading the M109A6 (Paladin) Self-Propelled Howitzer's Automatic Fire Control System (AFCS) and the Prognostic Diagnostic Interface Unit (PDIU), NSNs 7021-01-440-2127 and 1025- 01-294-3341, PNs 6125100 (ordnance number 12979825) and 12554020. Repairs/upgrades will be in accordance with MIL-STD-129, MIL-STD-2073-1, ANSI/IDO/ASQ Q9001-200, ASTM D3951-95, ASTM D4169-96, ASTM D4332-89, Federal Acquisition Regulation, DOD 4160-21-M-1 , PRF12979825 and PRF12554020. The proposed requirement will be a five year requirement solicitation. Firms that recognize and can repair/upgrade the AFCS and PDIU are encouraged to identify themselves to the contract specialist or contracting office and idendicate if the frim is large, small, small disadvantaged or 8(a).
