Provide all materials, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to manufacture and deliver an accurate fully functioning reproduction of an early 18th century French smooth bore iron 6 lb. cannon tube. The tube must be solid cast, machine-bored, steel sleeved and lathe turned in order to meet the highest standards in authenticity and visitor-employee safety during demonstrations. The carriage must be authentic repoduction 18th century French field carriage upon which a 1400 pound iron cannon tube will be placed. The carriage must be able to support the weight of the tube and the rigors of repeated concussions from live fire demonstrations. It must be made high quality kilned dried white or red oak to ensure the accuracy and product longevity in an outdoor environment. The carriage hardware must be hand forged iron and an accurate representation of the 18th century manufacturing techniques. The carriage faces and wheels are requried to be hand cut and planed to reflect authenticity. This project is set aside for small business. The NACIS code is 332995.
