The United States Coast Guard intends to perform minor repair, painting, maintenance and other work on approximately previously delivered FRC 1106 from Bollinger Shipyards Lockport, L.L.C., 8365 Highway 308 South, Lockport, LA 70374-0250; the work will be in conjunction with the contractor's planned 15 weeks of warranty dry-dock and dockside work for which the contractor is already responsible for. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) is 336611. The Specifications, plans or drawings related to this work are not available and cannot be provided by the Government at this time. The Government plans to perform the work in conjunction with the contractor work in order to prevent the duplication of costs and loss in critical FRC operating hours and to take advantage of the economy that can be achieved, since the contractor is already responsible for providing the dry-docking facility and other cost related to the dry-docking. The contract action for the additional work is planned as Sole Source, Cost Plus Fixed-Fee under the existing FRC contract and is not expected to exceed $650,000.00 for FRC 1106. No substitutes shall be considered at this time. All responses must be received within 15 calendar days of this notice, addressed to United States Coast Guard (USCG), Contracting Officer, USCG Fast Response Cutter Project Resident Office, P.O. Box 558, 8365 Highway 308, Building 25, Lockport, LA 70374-0558. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
