The Contractor shall procure, inspect, and deliver four thousand three hundred and thirty (4330) 5930410 connectors needed for the Mod6 Fire Control installation per the parts list. As part of this effort GDAIS will use GFE material provided by NSWC-CD to satisfy the requirements for the connectors. Efforts shall be performed in accordance with D5 Trident II Fire Control OD61988, SP23 Programs Environmental, Ship Interface, Security and Safety requirements; OD62677, Mod 6/7 System Specification; Fire Control OD61424, Process for Design and Deployment of Hardware and Software Changes to SP23 Programs and Fire Control OD63713, Mk98 Mod 6/7 Master Test and Evaluation Program Plan (MTEPP).Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT II (D5) Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
