Leather is unacceptable. One basic color; black, gray, green or field drab. Case to be naturally buoyan t with an O-ring compression seal ), M144 Optical Case (NSN: 1240-01-424-7118, PN: 12951004, Soft mud/water resistant material of bag type design; external surface to be matte finish of one basic color: black, gray, green, or field drab; leather is unaccep table material. The M144 Telescope also requires an Eye Protection Laser Filter that is produced in accordance with a class ified performance specification. Potential offerors are required to have a Facility Clearance at the Secret level in order to receive the classified documents for the laser filter. The requirements will be for a 5-year requirements contract with estimated quantities of 300 each the first year. This will be a Best Value Solicitation. Bid samples will be required.
