This project provides for the repair, annual recertification and inspections of Fire Alarm Systems at Birmingham IAP (ANG) and Martin ANG Station, Gadsden, Alabama. Each contractor submitting a proposal must visit the site and become fully familiar with the requirements and submit a proposal that addresses each system defined in the Statement of Work. The proposal must provide details of the exact work for each syste m, to include a. Detailed cost breakdown indicating the number of hours, the hourly rate for each worker, and the quantity of materials and cost of materials. b. Description of what work will be provided for each system addressed in the Statement of Work. Describe what test(s) will be provided and what the governing requirement is (are) and what test reports, equipment labeling, etc will be provided to the Gov ernment. c. Certifications that craftsmen are certified in each of the systems such as Simplex, Notifier, International Fire, etc. d. Contractor certification that upon completion of the work proposed that the fire systems addressed in the Statement of Work will be fully operational and fully compliant with all code required testing. If deficiencies are found during the site visit for this proposal process and are not identified in the Statement of Work, the Contractor should include those items in his proposal and provide a detailed description of proposed repairs and costs.
