Order (FCO) to support the installation of UK Facility Modification Kits.The Contractor shall purchase, inspect, test and deliver 1 UKCR Facility Mod Kit and 1 UKSF Facility Mod Kit. The Contractor shall provide the labor required to install 1 TRIDENT IIUKCR Facility Mod Kit and 1 UKSF Facility Mod Kit per the FCO. Efforts shall be performed in accordance with OD61988, SP23 Programs Environmental, Ship Interface, Security and Safety requirements; OD62677, Mod 6/7 System Specification; OD61424, Process for Design and Deployment of Hardware and Software Changes to SP23 Programs. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
