This is the solicitation for the Thompson Meadow Corral project. The intent of this project is to secure services for the design, purchase and delivery of materials and construction of a 6 rail steel corral for holding, loading and shipping of cattle at the Thompson Meadow gathering Pasture facility on the Stanislaus National Forest, Mi-Wok Ranger District. A continuous fence design type may be used for the rails but other design types will be considered. The corral will be constructed adjacent to Road #2N13.
Due to the Covid-19 gathering and travel restriction there will not be a Government lead site visit for this project. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
Submit request for information (RFI’s) to [email protected] and [email protected] by 3:00 PM PST on the 22nd of October. Responses to RFI’s will be posted on or about the 26th of October.
Award will be made using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Award will be made to the offeror whose acceptable offer provides the best value to the government, considering price and the non-price factors. Non-price evaluation factors include past performance and Design/technical acceptability.
