NA The US Army Research Laboratory, Weapons and Materials Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, plans to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for the purchase of 4000 inert projectiles, 14.5mm AP B32 with a one year option for FY 2003 to purchase up to a n additional 6000 - 14.5mm AP B32 inert projectiles. This is considered non-commercial. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, New Lenox Machine Company, Inc., 1200 E. Mazon Avenue, P.O. Box 188, Dwight, IL 60420, under the authority of FAR 6.302. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. T his notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
