The US Army TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ intends to issue a Request For Proposal under Other Than Full and Open Competition to restrict to US and Canada IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(3) FAR 6.302-3(b)(1)(i)&(v) for the manufacture and delivery of Cal .50 Sabot Light Armor Penetrator (M903) / Sabot Light Armor Penetrator Tracer (M962) IAW Performance Specification MIL-C-70663B(AR) in the following quantities: FY04(Basic) 1,619,000 each M903/M962 linked and 5 40,000 each of M962 bulk, and Options for FY05 (Option 1) up to 219,600 each M903/M962 linked and up to 632,400 each M962 bulk, FY06 (Option 2) up to 212,400 each M903/M962 linked and up to 536,400 each M962 bulk, and FY07(Option 3) up to 208,8000 each M903/M962 linked and up to 536,400 each M962 bulk. Deliveries will be within 22 months after contract award for FY04 (basic contract ) and within 14 months after exercising Option 1 and within 13 months of Option 2 and 3. See Numbered Notes 13.
