The US Army TACOM-ARDEC intends to solicit, negotiate and award a Contract with General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) for Load, Assemble and Pack (LAP) of the 155mm M231/M232 Modular Artillery Charge System (MACS) Propelling Charges. Total charges to be obtained are 92,379 M231 and 340,898 M232. The authority for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract. See Numbered Notes 25 and 26.
