The U.S. Army, TACOM-Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement for the fabrication, testing, and delivery of up to an additional quantity of 1,000,000 each M211 Infrared Countermeasure Decoy (Army & Air Force) over a one (1) year period of time, subject to the availability of funds. It is the Government’s intent to award a modification to the existing contract on a sole source basis to Alloy Surfaces Company Inc., Chester Township, PA, who is the current producer of the M211 Flare under the authority of FAR 6.302.1(a) (2) (ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy The Agency Requirements.
