The US Army Office of the Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting market research to identify potential sources for delivery of the following Spider M7 Hardware:

Delivery by August 2014:

20 Miniature Adaptor Module (MAM)/Miniature Grenade Training Simulator (MGTS) and Miniature Grenade Launcher (MGL) straps (NSN 5340-01-566-7404)

20 Remote Control Unit Transceiver (RCUT) and Repeater guy hooks (NSN 4030-01-563-3392)

10 RCU to RCUT power cables (NSN 6150-01-560-7158)

10 RCUT/Repeater antenna cables (NSN 6150-01-560-7146)

20 RCU to RCUT data cables (NSN 6150-01-560-8822)

10 RCU AC to DC converter cables (NSN 6130-01-571-1398)

10 Repeater battery container gaskets (NSN 5330-01-353-5197); and

50 toggle sensor assemblies (NSN 5340-01-576-3058)

Delivery by January 2015:

2,000 Spider J1 Grenade Initiation Module (GIM) connectors; and

2,000 MGL Interconnect Modules.

The Spider system and end item components are built to a performance specification and the Government does not have a mature Technical Data Package.

Interested parties that believe they can meet the above requirements shall provide a brief summary of their capabilities in manufacturing including minimum and maximum monthly production capabilities.

Responses should include their current business structure: (a) name of Company-include contact persons name, company address, telephone numbers (voice and fax), e-mail address, (b) Company size (i.e. large, foreign, small disadvantaged, veteran owned, woman owned, etc). This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding for any activity to support current or future production efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
