NA The US ARMY currently unitizes M2A1 metal containers packed with ammunition by consolidating two M2A1 containers in a wirebound box and strapping 48 wirebound boxes on a 40 inch by 48 inch pallet. The ARMY is considering the elimination of the wirebound b oxes and unitizing the ammunition packed M2A1 containers on a 40 inch by 48 inch pallet by some other procedure. If your company is currently unitizing ammunition packed M2A1 containers by another procedure you can offer your current procedure to the US AR MY for possible adoption by sending your unitization procedure to [email protected] or contacting David Piskorik at 309-782-6164.
