Provide backfit hardware in support of the FY03 TRIDENT II D5 Launcher Subsystem Backfit Program, including launch tube groups, vertical support groups, ejector groups, Variable Energy Eject Panels (VEEPs), Launcher Control Group (LCG) conversion kits and gas generators. Also engineering support services for D5 Backfit and Launcher Subsystem Control Group (LSCG), including operational site support; US C4/D5 Fleet Support, including spares acquisition, Strategic Systems Programs Alterations (SPALT) and Navy Change Request (NCR) projects; and UK Fleet Support, including spares acquisition, SPALT and NCR projects. This contract will also contain priced FY04 option items in support of D5 hardware production, D5 Backfit and LSCG support, US C4/D5 Fleet support, UK Fleet support, and UK Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development; and an FY05 option for D5Backfit Program support. Northrop Grumman Marine Systems is the designer, developer and producer of the TRIDENT II Launcher Subsystem and the only known source capable of providing this effort.
