The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to contract with Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), P.O. Box 11337, Tucson, AZ 85734 for the development of software modifications for expanded target sets into the Sidewinder AIM-9X Weapons System. The Raytheon Company is the original manufacturer and only known source possessing the requisite technical knowledge, specialized experience and technical data to fulfill these requirements in the required timeframe.
