Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently establish priced options with McDonnell Douglas Corp. (MDC), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company for the procurement of up to one hundred (100) Harpoon missile Block II retrofit kits, as well as their related services and documentation, during a two-year period. The option is available to Foreign Military Sale (FMS) customers only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: McDonnell Douglas Corp. (MDC) is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the Harpoon missile and is the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, technical data, and equipment, facilities and experience to perform this effort within the required timeframe.
