The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm-fixed price contract modification with McDonnell Douglas Corp. (MDC), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company for procurement of nine TK Lightweight Canister All-Up-Rounds for Turkey. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: McDonnell Douglas Corp. (MDC) is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the Harpoon weapon system and is the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, technical data, equipment, facilities, and experience with the Harpoon missile design, mission planning software, and production and test support equipment to perform this effort within the required timeframe.
