See attached for full detailed request. Seeking 15' Airboat and 8' Trailer 1. GENERAL A. The airboat shall be fully operational upon delivery. B. The airboat shall conform to all federal, state, and marine safety regulations. C. The airboat shall be constructed in accordance with or exceed industry standards for this type of vessel. Reconditioned or used parts will not be accepted. D. Marine Grade Aluminum Alloy 2. HULL A. Hull shall be 15’ long with an 8’ beam. B. Side Height of 24” C. Transom Min of 21” D. Bottom one piece: constructed of .190 (5086) Marine Grade Aluminum E. Bottom relieved 15 degrees for rear wash safety. F. Transom .190 (5086) Marine Grade Aluminum relieved 15 degrees for rear wash safety. G. Polymer to be fastened with stainless steel counter sink screws, 2” apart along seams and edges, and in maximum 12" rows with screws not more than 6" apart for the remainder of material. H. Bow cap, bulkhead, and sides shall be constructed of .125 (5086) Marine Grade Aluminum I. 7 – 2” x 2” x 1/4" aluminum T-bar stringers - Entire Length of Hull – w/.190 Aluminum gussets on every T-bar at transom. J. 2 Aluminum gussets mounted Transom to Splash plate w/.125 5052 aluminum K. One aluminum cross brace L. Hull to be natural aluminum finish. M. There shall be a 38-40” non-skidded aluminum deck N. Aluminum recessed deck lid on bow, framed with 1-1/2” aluminum hat channel, two drain tubes extended into hull, hydraulic shock and stainless-steel lock O. Two 1/2” NPT solid brass DRAIN PLUGS P. Heavy-duty stainless-steel bow eye Q. Four pull-up cleats (one on each corner gusset) R. 4” Walk-Boards S. Forward LED side navigation lights in the top front of hull (NOT GRASS RAKE) T. Aluminum generator platform w/rhino non-skid surface for electro fishing (32” x 28”) U. Stainless steel removable rails for bow of hull that can be swapped out for grass rake. (all hardware attaching grass rake and rails should use the same size bolts/nuts) 3. Polymer A. Bottom running surface of the hull will have 3/8” inch black UHMW Marine Polymer, Siliconized-crack resistant from within 8” of bow to stern 4. GRASS RAKE A. 30” Aluminum grass rake w/step,.125 Marine Grade Aluminum B. Rhino non-skid, webbing for safety C. Covered nose roll D. Grass rake to be easily removed (and replaced with stainless rails). E. NO lights on the grass rake. F. Hardware for removing grass rake should be the same size as the hardware for adding rails. 5. SEATING A. All Stainless-steel construction. B. Side by Side Rear Operator Seating C. Double seat box under rear seats D. Two passenger front seating – Medium height – to be installed for easy removal (replacement with generator and electrofisher) E. 1 x 2” Stainless steel wire storage basket under passenger seating F. UPII marine grade vinyl seat covers and rain covers G. Handles to be placed on each side of passenger seats and, OLD STYLE- Weld On H. Standard blue seat cushions, rain covers, instrument panel cover I. Front leg to go back to top of down leg (picture: build from .125) 6. PROPELLER/ENGINE GUARD A. All Stainless-steel construction. B. To fit 82” propeller with a minimum clearance of 3”. C. Guard made of stainless steel 1" and 7/8" tube .065 wall D. Wire on propeller guard to be 2” x 4” stainless steel (0.135”) welded E. Shroud shall extend all the way down and swept back to deck on both sides for safety. F. Guard to be separate part of engine stand and removable to work on unit. G. Coast guard approved running lights installed inside guard. H. Access doors w/hydraulic shocks I. Two – 4-1/2” Led Lights mounted inside prop guard J. Stainless steel expanded metal up to the 4th J-Bar 7. ENGINE STAND A. 1" stainless steel square tube .065 wall B. Four mounting points for automotive engine. C. All mounts to be shock mounted to prevent vibration. D. Mounting brackets to be incorporated into engine stand for fuel tank and batteries. 8. ENGINE A. Excalibur GEAR reduction B. 2.55:1 ratio C. Soft drive 11. PROPELLER – Install w / 6” of prop inside hull A. 3 – Blade 82” Sensenich JX Series B. Pitch shall be determined by the boat manufacturer as best suited for the boat that is furnished to assure maximum operation efficiency. 12. RUDDERS/CONTROLS A. 2’ X 48” air foiled aluminum rudders/foam filled with (4) nylon bushings and 3/8" stainless steel rudder rods. B. Steering stick/handle with aluminum anodized grip to be located on the driver’s Left side C. Positive and complete 3/8" heavy duty cable steering system. D. Electric throttle cable and throttle pedal assemble. E. Steering cable installed with aluminum rubber coated clamps (no-tie wraps) F. All stainless-steel fasteners. 13. INSTRUMENT CONSOLE A. Custom instrument console with lighted marine gauges (tachometer w/hour meter, oil pressure, voltmeter, temperature gauge, and fuel gauge) B. Marine keyed ignition switch (safety kill switch)- Move key to back of box C. Black rubber booted toggle switches of navigation light and accessories. D. Two (2) Accessory plugs mounted in panel with separate toggle switches, bubble breakers E. Fuse panel with circuit breakers F. Instruments shall be mounted in an aluminum panel located by the rear operator G. Vinyl instrument panel cover H. Dual receptacle for USB Port in storage area 14. ACCESSORIES A. Two 1500GPH bilge pumps w/ float switch 15. ELECTRICAL A. Dual marine batteries with dual battery selector switch B. Batteries shall be encased in coast guard approved battery boxes with tie downs. C. There shall be four position dual battery switch installed D. All currents wires to be 10 gauge in diameter E. All wires shall be encased in convoluted – high abrasive tubing F. Powered by a 12V 140-amp marine alternator – self exciting type 16. FUEL TANK A. Airboat shall be equipped with fuel tank mounted to the hull under the engine stand. B. Total fuel capacity shall be 50 gallons with Black remote fuel fill C. Fuel tank filler neck shall be accessible from ground level. D. Coast guard and BIA approved. E. Fuel tank to be constructed of 5052 grade aluminum with baffles. 17. COOLING SYSTEM A. Shall be heavy duty, large 31” x 24” heavy duty aluminum radiator, and closed coolant recovery system. B. Radiator must be low mounted and have sufficient cooling capacity to maintain correct operating temperature under tropical conditions maximum engine load. C. Radiator to be mounted on engine stand with shock mounts. D. Large Hayden Oil Cooler with braided oil lines 16. TRAILER 16’ x 8” (TRAILER MUST BE 16’ X 8’) Additional 6” in length for Trailer Tongue A. Galvanized with easy lube axle B. Single 5200 Lbs. Axle Ram-Lin Trailer C. 15” spare tire with mounted directly behind winch. E. 15” galvanized rims with bearing buddies and tires. F. Heavy duty tongue jack with wheel. G. Transom tie down straps 17. PAINT A. Powder coat paint: Instrument panel, battery selector switch, double seat box, cross brace, aluminum overflow and expansion tanks – Choice of standard colors 18. MANUALS A. Manufacturer will provide an owners / operator’s manual that includes break-in procedures, maintenance intervals, recommended parts, and procedures for safe operation of all components. 19. WARRANTY A. Hull: 5-year to the original owner; defects in material and workmanship, with the exception of electrolysis.
