Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to acquire Aircraft Frame, Structural Support, Fromer, and Structural Plates through the use of long-term contracts awarded against solicitation SP0412-03-R-4566. This solicitation is comprised 24 NSNs with similar manufacturing processes. It is anticipated that split awards will be made against this solicitation. The resultant contracts will be Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The contracts will have a twenty four month base period and three twelve-month option periods for total maximum period of performance of 5 years if all options are exercised. The NSNs in this solicitation all fall under FSC 1560. Once released (see opening date below) the solicitation will be found at http://www.dscr.dla.mil/kd and on the procurement gateway. There are drawings associated with some of the NSNs covered by this acquisition. In order to obtain access to drawings, offerors must be registered on the DSCR Technical Data Management Division website. The solicitation will open on August 25, 2003 and close on 10 October 2003. Documents will not be available until the solicitation opening date.
