This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-07-Q-0323 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 336413 and small business size standard 1000 employees. (v) (1000 EA) Aircraft mooring anchor is 32" to 33" from the auger tip to the ring tip (overall length). The shaft is 20" long, 1 3/8" to 1 1/2: in diameter and made of schedule 80 pipe. The collar is 4" long, 1 5/8" to 1 7/8" in diameter and made of schedule 40 pipe. The screw portion (auger tip) is 5 1/2" to 6" long, 3 3/4" to 3 7/8" outside diameter at the top tapering down to the point. The D ring is 1/2" 1018 cold roll round bar 3 3/8" to 3 1/2" long and 4" accross at the bottom curves. The D ring will align or pivot from front to back and back to front of collar. All the components (the whole anchor) will be dip galvanized. (vi) Delivery is to take place 120 days after delivery of contract (ADC).
