The Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA209), intends to award a sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc., 150 Parish Drive, Wayne, NJ 07474-0975 for the post production support, repair, integration and operation of the radar altimeter receiver / transmitter, RT-1805/APN, NSN 5999-01-481-3659, Low Probability of Intercept Altimeter (LPIA). The RT-1805/APN was previously developed under a competitive contract that was awarded to BAE. As such BAE maintains the proprietary information required to support the tasking being obtained under this contract. The tasking to be accomplished under this contract will include engineering support on the performance and interface characteristics of the RT-1805/APN, specialized engineering investigations including troubleshooting of specific interface, integration or performance difficulties, out of warranty repair of production RT-1805/APN, pre-production RT-1805/APN or specialized equipment. The duration of the contract is anticipated to be through 30 September 2005.
