The intended source is Mason Electric Company, San Fernando, CA, which is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the handgrips. The authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. The Mason Electric Company part numbers are 722-0405, left handgrip, and 722-0408, right handgrip. Delivery is to begin January 2007. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. See Notes 22 and 26
