NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Northrop Grumman Systems Corp (26916), Rolling Meadows, IL for the repair of NSN: 5865 016194771, NOM: ATW Sensor and NSN 5865 016194769, NOM: ATW Processor. The intention of this solicitation is to award a two-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman. Northrop Grumman is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only know source for providing repair support of the above parts. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 334220. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing BOA after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
