THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) is evaluating the availability of a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) Hydraulic Tube Bending Machine, for US Navy shipboard and shore base aircraft support. The tube-bending machine shall be configured to take the information directly from the bend data card and input into the PLC control panel for every tube assembly. An example of this card is provided as attachment (A) Additionally, any system to be considered for use must meet the technical requirements in the following statement of work:
SPECIFICATION FOR A MANDREL TYPE POWERED TUBE BENDING
MACHINE AND ASSOCIATED TOOLING
GENERAL REQUIREMENT: This unit and associated tooling will be used by the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadrons aboard "L" class Naval vessels and Marine Mobile Maintenance Facility Vans for the purpose of manufacturing Titanium and Stainless Steel hydraulic tubes for the MV-22B aircraft.
