The Town of Charlestown, NH is accepting bids for a used 1991 American LaFrance Fire Truck. 25,428 miles; 1,848 hours; 750 gallon water tank, 1,500 gallons per minute pump; last pump test 2019. Vehicle includes some equipment such as extension ladder, roof ladder, radio, and deck gun. Vehicle was last inspected September 2020, inspection included fluid and filter replacement. This unit is being sold as is/where is with no warranty whatsoever as to condition or suitability for any particular use. Minimum bid of $3,000. Unit can be seen at the Charlestown Fire Station. Bids clearly marked “American LaFrance” will be accepted at the Office of the Selectboard until Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 4:00 PM. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Selectboard workshop on Wednesday, December 23rd at 8:00 AM. The Charlestown Selectboard reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids as it deems in its sole judgment to be in the best interests of the Town.
