This announcement constitutes public notice of intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order for the lease of a 2-Dimensional Distrometer to JOANNEUM RESEARCH, Institute of Applied Systems Technology, Schießstattgasse 14B, A-8010 Graz, AUSTRIA / EUROPE. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(2). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. The proposed source, JOANNEUM RESEARCH, is the only contractor capable of providing a 2-Dimensional Distrometer to meet the governments needs.
