The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to procure underwater hull shell plating; skeg, rudder and shaft penetration inspection and repair for the display ship ex-USS CASSIN YOUNG (DDG-793) on a firm-fixed price (FFP) basis. Ship is currently located in dry dock at Boston National Historical Park. Repairs are required to shell plating, rivets, rudder, struts, bilge keels, sea chest blanks, skeg, structural members and deteriorated areas in order to maintain ship safely afloat in a museum status. This procurement will include all repairs to areas designated in repair specification. No industry day is planned. This will be a competitive solicitation posted on the GSA eBuy website (https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov/ ). Bidders must be registered with GSA within the following vendor category: 812 002 - Dockside Maintenance and Repair Services.
