The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District intends to award a contract to HRP North America Inc., 3903 Columbia Avenue, Linwood, PA 19061 for the purchase of three (3) Circuit Cards for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers vessel Currituck.

This sole source award is in the Governments best interest because the HRP Circuit Cards are the only direct replacement circuit cards for the control circuit on the Currituck. To change to another manufacturers circuit card would require the additional replacement of the Curritucks control system at an estimated cost that would exceed the cost of acquiring the HRP Circuit Cards as specified by this requirement.
