The Contracts Department of Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego (FISCSD) intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”, with Konrad Marine, Incorporated, 1421 Hanley Road, Hudson, WI 54016. The Contractor shall provide original equipment manufacturer (OEM) repair pares for Konrad Marine, Inc. Model 520 outdrives. FISCSD intends to award a firm fixed price type contract for various quantities of 81 different parts. This action is being issued utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items/services under FAR Part 12. This is not a request for quote or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive! procurement. Request for copies of a solicitation will not be honored.
