The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to negotiate a three year contract with Treadwell Corporation, 341 Railroad Street, Thomaston, CT for the furnishing of services to remove, install, checkout, test, assemble, disassemble and repair the Model 6L16 Electrolytic Oxygen Generators (EOG) and Automated Electrolytic Oxygen Generators (AEOG) on SSN-688 and Trident Class Submarines. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or sservices will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Note 22 applies. The approximate release date for the solicitation is 17 January 2006.
