Defense Information Systems Agency requires 2,000 Samsung S4 devices for the Department of Defense (DoD) Mobility Classified Capabily (DMCC) requirement. In a joint effort between the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the National Security Agency (NSA), the DoD Mobility Program tested and approved the use of the Samsung Galaxy S4 asthe DMCC's Release 2.0 device. The intent of DMCC is to incorporate commercial solutions to protect classified mobile communications capabilities. NSA's testing resulted in Verizon being the only carrier with an established Private Network capable of meeting NSA's requirements and therefore providing wireless services for DMCC. The Verizon Wireless Private Network segregates data off of the public network just for DISA. . Verizon is the only carrier that can offer this level of service in conjunction with the proprietary integration services applied to the device as a part of the DMCC offering. The DMCC has been operational since March 2015 at which time S4 devices for this capability started to be provisioned to DoD users. This procurement is authorized under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The NAICS for this requirement is 517210 and the applicable SIC is 4812. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the contractor's capabilities and the ability to comply with above requirement.
