2014 CDNST CONSTRUCTION - Project consists of new tread construction on the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDNST).  New trail construction is required for approximately 2.2 miles of CDNST on the Silver City Ranger District in the Gila National Forest.  Trail construction activities shall include cutting and clearing of trail corridor and new tread construction.  New tread construction may include installation of the following (where warranted by slope and terrain): retaining walls, rolling dips, swithchbacks, climbing turns, water bars and rock spillways.  There will also be an installation of a 6 ft. metal pipe gate.
