LEGAL NOTICE The Fulton County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the 2020 Fulton County Asphalt Resurfacing Project, at the Fulton County Commissioners’ Office, 152 S. Fulton St., Suite 270, Wauseon, Ohio until 9:00 A.M., Thursday, June 25, 2020, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Engineer’s Estimate: $1,866,734.00 Plans, specifications, proposals, and estimated quantities may be obtained or examined at the office of Frank T. Onweller, P.E., P.S., Fulton County Engineer, 9120 County Road 14, Wauseon, Ohio on weekdays, excluding holidays, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. local time. There will be a $10.00 non-refundable charge for the proposal and plans. Proposals and plans may be shipped to a bidder. The bidder will have to cover shipping charges by supplying a shipping account number. Checks shall be made payable to the Office of the Fulton County Engineer. Legal notice, bid documents and plan holders list are also posted on the internet at www.fultoncountyoh.com/engineer under “Bid Postings”. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 153.54, each bidder shall be required to file with his bid one of the following options: 1. A bond in accordance with division (B) of Section 153.54 of the Revised Code, providing for the Bid Guaranty and the Contract Bond in the full amount of the bid, or, 2. A Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Revised Code, in accordance with division (C) of Section 153.54. The amount of the Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall be equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. If this option is used, a Performance Bond issued by a surety company in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be furnished by the successful bidder as a condition of the contract. All proposals must be submitted bound in their entirety, and on the forms furnished in the contract documents. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services Wage and Hour Division. The Board of County Commissioners of Fulton County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
