SECTION 01100 INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals for City of Metter 2021 TIA W. Hiawatha Street Paving & S. Lewis Street Sidewalks Project will be received at The Metter Public Works Facility located at 700 Washington Street; Metter, Georgia until 2:00 PM on December 14, 2022. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Bids may also be mailed to 49 South Rountree Street, P.O. Box 74, Metter, GA 30439. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the City of Metter. The work to be performed includes the following: • Hiawatha Street: Paving of APROX 2,300-lf of roadway beginning at South Terrell Street & continuing eastward. o Drainage Improvements: Installation of 135-lf of curb & gutter; Regrade and pipe roadside ditches including 207-lf of pipe, and six flared end sections, with an add alternate option that includes an additional 475-lf of pipe, five flared end sections, three inlets, & three manholes. • S. Lewis Street: Installation of sidewalk on South Lewis ST from Lytell ST to Hiawatha ST
