The Washington County Board of Commissioners are soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the 2023 LMIG Resurfacing in Washington, Jefferson, Glascock counties. Bids should be submitted in a sealed container marked on the outside with the name of the bidder, the date and hour of opening and project name. Bids will be received until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday June 1, 2023, at 119 Jones Street, Sandersville, Georgia 30182. Bids received after this date and time will not be accepted. Successful contractor will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond. Insurance and Bonding Company must be authorized to do business in Georgia by The Georgia Insurance Department, listed in the Department of Treasury's Publication of Companies holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Surety on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies, and must have an AM Best rating of A-10 or higher. Written bid documents supersede any prior communications between the parties. Washington County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and make an award deemed in its best interest.
