This project includes the demolition of the existing cooling tower and portions of cooling water and make up water piping at Austin Road Elementary School and at East Lake Elementary School, plus removal of associated electrical power circuits and electrical devices supporting the cooling tower. The project includes replacing the cooling tower with a new tower at each school, and new cooling water piping and drain piping and supports, as well as new electrical circuits. The project also includes control work to incorporate the new VFD fan modulation sequence into the existing central plant controls, make up water pipe modifications, chemical treatment of the new tower cooling water, and TAB work.
