The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (hereinafter referred to as ONWASA) requests proposals for the dredging, transportation, and disposal of accumulated water treatment plant solids. Work will be performed at ONWASA’s Dixon WTP, 6661 Wilmington Hwy, Holly Ridge, NC 28445, and Hubert WTP, 374 Hubert Blvd, Hubert, NC 28539. Sealed Proposals will be received at ONWASA, 228 Georgetown Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540, until 2:00 pm April 3, 2024. The successful proposer (hereinafter referred to as “Contractor”) shall furnish all permits, materials, equipment, and labor necessary for performing all work associated with dredging, dewatering, transporting, and proper disposal of solids from the settling lagoons (hereinafter referred to as “WTP”). Work is to begin within thirty (30) calendar days after receiving written Notice to Proceed from ONWASA, and all work on this project shall be completed within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days of the issuance of the Contract.
