1. Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, insurance, and personnel to provide DSH with Medical Courier Services on an as-needed basis. 2. The medical courier services will be used for STAT and regular (Non-STAT) pick-ups and deliveries of medical products, materials, and lab specimen from our hospital to other medical facilities. The service will mostly comprise of handling lab specimens especially STAT lab specimens. Other services will include but not limited to the transport of medical charts, records, and specialized medical equipment/devices and supplies. STAT lab specimens are time sensitive and must be handled quickly, so punctuality is extremely important. STAT lab requests are sporadic, so it is important to consider that service will be needed 24 Hours, 7 Days a week, at various times throughout the day. 3.
