Pursuant to MGL Chapter 149, the City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids, Bid #22031 for Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials (Payment) Bond in the amount of 50% of the bid price. Bids are due and will be opened at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 9 Dale Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930 no later than Sept. 2, 2021 at 11:00 am. Bid packages will be available at the Purchasing Office beginning Aug. 18, 2021 email: [email protected]. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason.
