The Federal Bureau of Investigation is requesting quotes be provided by all responsible parties for .223 100 grain, SRT Frangible Training ammunition.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation a written solicitaion will not be issued.  The Request for Quote, RFQ-2220122089 is being conducted as a 100% small business set-aside.  The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 332992.  The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are applicalbe effective through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. 

The RFQ is for a one time purchase of 2,000 boxes of .223 100 Grain, SRT Frangible Training ammunition.  Clauses incorporated by reference are:  52.212-1 Instructions to offerors; 52.212-2 Evaluation of Offerors; 52.212-3 Representation and Certifications; 52.212-4 Terms and Condistions; and, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues and Executive Orders, Subsection (a), (b) 1,5,7,9,14-20, 31, and 33. 

Offerors shall submit a minimum of threee previous customers for past performance review.  The information shall entail - name of company, name of point-of-contact, contract number, date contract awareded, dated contract completed, and total amount of contract award.

Quotes are due to the FBI by 11:00 AM, EDT, June 22, 2012.  Quotes shall be submitted electronically to the attenditon of Theresa M. Powell at [email protected].  

Each offeror shall include a copy of Clause 52.212-3 with their quote.  Addendum to Clause 52.212-2 - The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:  Product, Past Performance and Price.  Product and Past Performance combined are not more important than cost/price.  The FBI will award to the offeror who provides the product required at the lowest price.  Any vendor not having government or commercial experience will be rated as "neutral" on the past performance evaluation.
