The US Coast Guard is seeking sources to procure a Sliding Shoe Marine Bilge Pump and associated equipment onboard the 225' WLB Class Buoy Tenders. The pump shall have a flow rate of 27 GPM, discharge pressure of 45 PSI and suction lift capability of at least 20 feet. The motor must be IEEE-45 Marine Duty.

The system will be delivered to the CG Yard in Baltimore, MD for installation by the government. The estimated quantity is 9 ship sets (consisting of 2 pumps per set) that will be delivered over the life of the project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 333911, Pump and Pumping Equipment Manufacturing and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees.

This sources-sought announcement is a tool to assist the Government with market research to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Sources interested in responding to this sources sought shall submit the following information:

1) Capability statement expressing interest in this requirement, describing your company and its capability to complete a project of this scope, magnitude and complexity (current or past technical experience.) Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by your firm and/or in-house personnel. Include a list of projects with descriptions that are similar in nature to the Summary of Scope of Work.

2) Capability to complete design and fabrication work in house and anticipated percentage of outsourced work.

3) Statement of your firm's standard warranty.

4) Average delivery lead time.

5) Identification of your firm's business size and type (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), woman-owned). If a company is a large business please consider providing any distributors or dealers for consideration.

6) Cage Code and DUNS number.

7) Reference list for each of the projects submitted in 1) above. Include the point of contact, title, phone number and email address.
