The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Engineering Services Division, In Service Vessel Sustainment branch is seeking qualified sources that can provide six (6) each Refrigeration Systems, Carrier P/N 90YR20NSZ3ND6M9Z-225 to complete the 225’ Mid-Life Maintenance Availability (MMA) program on the remaining 225’ WLB Coast Guard cutters.  This is a follow-on therefore it is the Government’s intent to solicit and negotiate only with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Carrier, and/or their authroized distributors. Substitute part numbers will not be accepted. The Government does not possess the technical and engineering data required to enable award of this follow-on contract on a competitive basis. All technical and engineering data is proprietary to the OEM.  Industry was given the opportunity to submit their capabilities in the sources sought notice posted on August 1, 2020.  No responses were received.  The Government intends to award one fixed price Requirements contract, consisting of one (1) 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000.  Request for Quotation Number 70Z04021Q60881B00 is attached to this notice for download.  The due date for receipt of quotations is 2:00 PM EST on January 4, 2021.  Quotations received after this deadline shall be rejected.  All responsive sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency.  This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1.
