Sealed bids for a Prime Contractor for Redevelopment of Blunt Park for Springfield Parks Department – Bid No. 23-001 will be received until 2:00 PM August 11, 2022 by: The Office of Procurement Hope Button, Deputy Procurement Officer 36 Court Street, Room 307, Springfield MA 01103 Phone (413) 787-6284 email: [email protected] at which time the bids will be opened. Bid Forms and all documents will be available for pick-up at www.biddocsonline.com on July 20, 2022, (may be viewed electronically and hard copy requested) at Nashoba Blue, Inc. at 433 Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (978-568-1167). Bidders requesting Bid Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), payable to BidDocs Online, Inc. to cover mail handling costs. Improvements to Blunt Park will include installation of sediment and erosion controls, demolition of existing tennis courts, playground, pavements, fencing and tree work, installation of site utilities, construction of new tennis courts, installation of owner-furnished site furnishings, playground and splash pad equipment, concrete work, and landscaping. This IFB is subject to M.G.L. Ch. 30B § 5 and other state procurement statutes. MA Prevailing Wages and Federal Davis-Bacon Wages will apply to this project. Site Visit: Scheduled Site visit to be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Blunt Park, 1780 Roosevelt Ave, Springfield MA.
