A. Contractor shall provide urology services to DSH patients at an inpatient or outpatient medical facility, including a DSH on-site clinic, when referred by a DSH staff physician, emergency medical physician, or a physician contracted with DSH. B. Contractor shall assist DSH medical staff in providing the highest quality of medical care reasonable and consistent with available resources and assure that diagnoses, treatment, and documentation meet the requirements and standards set forth by the community standards of practice, state licensing requirements under the California Code of Regulations, title 22; Medical Board certification; the Joint Commission; and federal and state laws. C. Contractor shall designate one or more physicians to whom DSH should direct questions or concerns regarding quality of care. Contractor may direct any questions or concerns about medical referrals to the DSH Chief Physician/Surgeon or designee. Both parties shall investigate and respond as appropriate to such communications.
