This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912CL-11-T-0035, and it is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-42. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 336211 and small business size is 1000. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for procuring, customizing, installing, integrating, testing, training, and delivery to Santiago, Chile eleven (11) new Mobile Emergency Operations Centers (MEOC) for use by the Government of Chile and reconfiguring one existing Chilean-owned MEOC vehicle with compatible equipment. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition, and addenda to the provision can be found in the attached solicitation document. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror(s) that offers the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror considering past performance, those Offerors who are rated as acceptable in all factors will be ranked by price. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.225-7000, and DFARS 252.212-7000 and other applicable provisions with its offer. Additional information regarding this solicitation may be obtained from the solicitation document attached to this combined synopsis/solicitation. Offers shall be submitted electronically no later than 12:00 PM, CDT, 18 January 2011 to Velia Pier, Contract Specialist, [email protected] and to Mary Sue Austin, Contracting Officer, [email protected]. Questions regarding clarification of solicitation requirements shall be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist by email at [email protected].
