This is a presolicitation notice for a Firm-Fixed Price Contract for the procurement of Pick Up Trucks for the Architect of the Capitol, Capitol Grounds, Washington, DC. The AOC's Capitol Grounds is currently in the process of standardizing it's entire fleet of light trucks. Therefore, the Capitol Grounds is looking to purchase two new 3/4 ton regular cab 4x4 Pick Ups and two four door crew cab Pick Ups.SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Vehicle to be equiped with the following equipments. Bed of trucks should be eight foot. Vinyl seats and vinyl floor covering. Vehicle color Arrival Blue. Air conditioning. AM & FM radio with clock. Engine 6.0 liter V8. GVWR 9200 1bs. Automatic transmissions. Special traction locking rears. O.E.M. Draw bar receiver class IV Parts. This solicitation will be issued on about August 4th, 2003.
