The 410th Regional Contracting Center (RCC), Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to negotiate a sole-source contract for the repair and maintenance of one (1) each 2009 Toyota Land Cruiser with CSI Armoring Inc., 7061 NW 87th Ave, Miami, FL 33178-1503. The award will be issued as a Firm-Fixed Price under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336399 and the size standard is 750 employees.

Description of Requirement: The vehicle is a 2009 Toyota Land Cruiser in need of repairs to its armoring system and mechanical repairs which are due to a vehicle accident. The vehicle is still under manufacturer's warranty for armoring mechanical issues. If any other company modifies/repairs the mechanical aspects of the vehicle, which has not been approved by CSI Armoring, it will void any and all warranties on the vehicle. The armoring composition on the vehicle is proprietary to CSI Armoring Inc. and can only be repaired and warranted by CSI Armoring Inc.

Period of Performance: 60 Days after contract award

Contract Type: The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed-Price

Contractor Requirements: The potential awardee must have active registrations in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in order to participate in this requirement and be eligible for award. This notice is not a request for quotations. No solicitation will be issued and quotations will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
