The City of Greenville is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the installation of concrete medians along Laurens Rd, Woods Crossing Rd, and E North St. The scope of work will consist of the installation of concrete median islands, signage, pavement markings, and a landscaped island on Woods Crossing Road, Laurens Road, and E North Street. Laurens Road and E North Street are both owned and maintained by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), and all work will be performed in accordance with the provisions of an approved SCDOT encroachment permit. Woods Crossing Road is owned and maintained by the City of Greenville, and all work will be performed in accordance with City of Greenville and SCDOT standards and specifications. The project is being bid as a base bid and a bid alternate. The base bid will include all scope of work on Laurens Rd and Woods Crossing Rd. The bid alternate will include all scope of work on E North St. Bid tabs are provided for both the base bid and bid alternate.
